Teaching Lessons

Andy didn’t realise how good a teacher he was until he gained top marks in his trial period. We found him to have a natural ability for sharing what he knows with others. This is aided by a knack of noticing what it is that you might be struggling with and identifying a way that’s suits each pupils unique learning abilities.

Playing Experience

As with all our teachers, Andy’s experience covers many years and music genres. He is comfortable with Rock, Pop, Punk, Glam, Classics, you name it. He was well known for Glam 70’s band ‘Glam Sensation’ and is currently performing with Inde Band Under’t’fridge. He is one of those people who can’t turn up at a BBQ without offering to do a couple of numbers on the acoustic.

I have had lots of music experience and played in many bands. I am constantly aiming to become a better player myself and bringing new music and challenges to students lessons.

I accompany many styles and appreciate the rewards of each of them. The Piano encompasses a whole world of music. It is a complete instrument providing a complete package.

Lessons

We provide beginner Piano lessons with an emphasis on Classical and Contemporary music. Following the ABRSM grades we provide a complete course for the beginner or Intermediate student.

I teach ABRSM grade from 1-5 and any beginners will work through the abracadabra flute book, a fun yet concise guide to beginner Flute
